Loon Bennett - gorgeous four bedroom cottage
 
Loon Bennett was built in 1847 and is just 100m from Mousehole Harbour.  Recently renovated, and professionally interior designed, the four bedroom cottage makes a fantastic base for a holiday.
 
Particularly suitable for large family groups, or those who just want to be close to the centre of Mousehole - Loon Bennett has four bedrooms, two sitting rooms and a large farmhouse kitchen/diner, complete with AGA. There is a secluded cottage garden, with its' own flagpole! Mousehole's harbour beaches are literally just down the road, as is the Ship Inn, Mousehole's traditional pub.  Across the road is Jessie's Dairy, for authentic Cornish Pasties made to Jessie's grandmother's recipe.
Large farmhouse kitchen/diner with AGA

The kitchen/ diner really is the heart of Loon Bennett. Guests tell us that they spend many wonderful evenings around the large dining table seating 8.  Whether you're a Masterchef, or prefer to eat simply on holiday - you will find the kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs, including an Aga (a guide to Aga cooking is provided) and an extensive selection of recipe books. An adjacent utility room houses a washing machine and tumble drier.

There are two sitting rooms -ideal if you're holidaying with children. The formal sitting room has a woodburning stove for cosy evenings as well as a flat screen TV.  The adjacent TV room has a DVD player and a selection of DVDs and board games. Wi-Fi is available.

Mousehole's mild climate means that the garden at Loon Bennett is full of fragrant flowers and shrubs.  The St Piran's Cross (Cornwall's Patron Saint) usually flies from the flagpole, but you can choose to fly one of the other flags provided! Enjoy a chilled glass of wine as the sun goes down in the cobbled garden.

The four bedrooms can sleep eight adults comfortably. Most will accomodate a travel cot or Z bed too.

You'll be queueing to bathe in the sumptuous master bathroom with roll top bath.  The Green Bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower, and there's also a downstairs cloakroom just off the kitchen/diner. Linen and bath towels are provided (please bring beach towels)
 
Private parking in the integral garage 
 
 
Parking can be at a premium in Mousehole in the summer months but Loon Bennett has its' own attached garage (small cars and careful drivers recommended!).  Alternatively park in one of the Harbour Car Parks, or the Car Park next to the Old Coastguard Hotel for a small charge.
